Noticing Nature is an art and wellbeing project for older people, from Celebrating Age Wiltshire with Artist James Aldridge. You can join this project by using our inspiring free resource pack or booking free outdoor creative art workshops with James, observing nature in your own garden, or local outdoor space.
Contact Celebrating Age Wiltshire to book a series of 3 free outdoor workshops with James in your garden or local outdoor space. You can also refer someone you know who would benefit from this project and we will get in touch with them to tell them more about it. All workshops are designed to be Covid safe.
You can download our Noticing Nature Resource Pack from the Noticing Nature page on the Wiltshire Music Centre website, and watch a short film there created by James, sharing activity ideas to try at home. If you live in Wiltshire and need a printed version of the Resource Pack, you can request one by contacting us on the email address or phone number at the bottom of the page.
Blogposts will be added to this site to share artwork made in the workshops, and additional information about the project as it unfolds. If you’d like to share your artwork on the blog, in response to the Noticing Nature resource pack or film, please email a good quality jpeg to us at the address below, with the subject title Artwork for Noticing Nature Blog, and include your name and information you’d like to share about the artwork (subject matter, media, where it was made etc).
